FAQs

Your questions answered

"What is Experiential Marketing and does it really work?"

- Experiential marketing is a culmination of immersive experiences that deepens a consumer's connection to a brand, business or product. Essentially, it is marketing that goes beyond just an advertisement that a consumer passively sees and and instead, invites them to get actively hands-on with your product or service. A good example is a Costco sample. Instead of just looking at product on a shelf and the price, you get to experience it firsthand. Costco knows that cookies or taquitos might not have been on your shopping list, but the appeal of free food is enough to get you to seriously consider adding something more to your cart.

That's just one way that experiential marketing works. First you try it, then you decide whether to buy it. So of course it works! But like anything, it has to be well planned and executed. Our events aren't simply focused on offering samples, though. We will educate customers about everything your business offers, grow your social media following and give people a reason to refer you to their friends and family.

"How can I be sure it's worth the cost?"

- As a business owner, you can't afford to take risks which don't justify their costs. Your investments need to pay off, especially with your marketing. Honestly, if you're happy with your current efforts, you're not spending time on this website. But if those efforts aren't paying dividends, you owe it to yourself and your business to try something new and bold. "What are some examples of successful campaigns and events?"

- There's almost too many to list! While each campaign is customized to match with your business and its goals, the overall structure is always built around pre-event planning, hyping up the event itself, and then maintaining that momentum post-event. Once we meet and discuss your marketing goals, we'll select an event date, then get to work on planning and announcing it. Those efforts involve both digital and print seeding in the local community to draw customers in through social media posts, e-mail announcements and postcard deliveries to residents in your ZIP code. For the event execution, we can employ a number of different elements: drawings and giveaways, samples, photo walls & photo booths, food and beverage service, food trucks, mixologists, DJs and musicians, dancers, performers, artists, facepainters and anything else that will excite and delight the public. We'll also have professional photographers and videographers to capture all the action and generate content which will be used for your social media channels and website, preserving the memories for everyone who came, while also showing anyone who wasn't there what they missed out on. All the content will keep the buzz going for weeks until you're ready for the next event. This structure can be adjusted to fit different themes, from a Grand Opening, Customer Appreciation Party, Anniversary or Holiday Celebration. It really comes down to what you want to celebrate with your customers!

Just as importantly, we'll measure the success of the campaign by comparing snapshots of your businesses sales and performance prior to the campaign, during the event, and in the weeks following.
